We visted the Golden Gate bridge, Pier 39, Union Square shopping district and chinatown. One of my highlights wasn't so much the bridge, but walking up the very steep lombard street - the crooked street. We entered a town called Phoenix which is where American Express is headquarted, its quite a strange town, lots of new homes that look exactly the same, as it has grown very quickly in the last couple years. The guide was able to pick up some tickets to the Basketball match this night. It was very lucky, I have always wanted to see this team play. As we found out pretty quickly if you do not own a car, you don't get far. Just to go 4 Km cost us $25AUD in a taxi.
